Please consider being a foster family! When one of our dogs goes into a foster home, it not only allows us to learn their personality in a home environment but also gives them an opportunity to socialize. We learn their likes, their dislikes, and their silly personalities that we may not be able to see in a kennel environment. Being in a foster home allows the animal to decompress and be exposed to environments the Shelter doesn’t have. Fostering allows for new avenues of adoption and for us to better match them to the right family. It is a temporary commitment with a permanent reward. We have several dogs that could benefit from being in a foster home. If you would like more information, please contact Becky at Becky@rchsvt.org or call 802.483.9171 ext 206.
