Addison County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 21.

In honor of National Social Work Month, we would like to introduce you to ACCT’s second SASH coordinator out of Bristol.  Linda runs the program out of the Pleasant Hills Community Room.

Linda began her work with ACCT and SASH in June of 2021. She comes to us with a background in marketing and an MBA. The monthly SASH Flash sent to participants in the program is top notch!

With her creative nature and no fear of color, her answer was no surprise when asked what her favorite part of working with the community was.

“Arts and Crafts on Tuesdays! I love when people wander in the space and get curious, especially when those who don’t regularly participate, end up joining in on the project!”

Linda’s impact on the community has been paramount in helping to combat social isolation.

“In person events are coming back! I encourage people to get out of their homes and we have a social advantage in access to a local hub.”

In her free time, Linda creates boxed craft kits that she sells online and on the VT craft fair circuit. You may even find her in costume at the next Renaissance Festival.
