Tuition and fees rose 1.9 percent for 2018-19 at Sterling College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.
Vermont students paid $38,300 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $712 more than the $37,588 charged for 2017-18.
Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 28 students received grants or scholarships totaling $736,202 and 15 students took out student loans totaling more than $109,629.
Including all undergraduates (136), 132 students used grants or scholarships totaling $3.2 million, and 73 students took out $531,576 in federal student loans.
