On Monday, Feb. 24, former Lake Region Union High School standout David Piers’ current college team, the Oklahoma Baptist Bison, won 19-11 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils.
The game took place at Bobby Cox Field at Ford Park. This was their third matchup against the Boll Weevils this season.
The Bison’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. at Mike Metheny Field against Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm.
