On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Lake Region Union High School standout David Piers’ current college team, the Oklahoma Baptist Bison, lost 14-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UMSL Tritons.
The game took place at Wendell Simmons Field. This was their first matchup against the Tritons this season.
The Bison’s next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 3 at 1:40 p.m. at Wendell Simmons Field against Northeastern State Riverhawks.
