On Monday, Feb. 3, former Lake Region Union High School standout David Piers’ current college team, the Oklahoma Baptist Bison, won 13-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northeastern State Riverhawks.
The game took place at Wendell Simmons Field. This was their first matchup against the Riverhawks this season.
The Bison’s next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 3 p.m. at Bobby Cox Field at Ford Park against Metro State Roadrunners.
