Premium gas was sold at the lowest price of $4.49 per gallon at one gas station in Caledonia County during the week ending Mar. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, premium gas averaged $4.88 per gallon.
Of the 23 reported gas stations located within Caledonia County, five offered premium gas.
Across Vermont, the average reported price for a gallon of premium gas rose to $4.76, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
