On Friday, Jan. 31, former Lake Region Union High School standout David Piers’ current college team, the Oklahoma Baptist Bison, lost 7-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.
The game took place at Wendell Simmons Field. This was their first matchup against the Gorillas this season.
The Bison’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 9:30 a.m. at Wendell Simmons Field against UMSL Tritons.
