Rounding out this week is story #6 in our top ten countdown series: Castleton student Perry Ragouzis was elected as the student trustee for the Vermont State Colleges System Board of Trustees. As the student representative, he is a voting member and hopes to use the position to amplify the good on all campuses and promote a more equitable and just environment for students to grow and learn.

Orleans County’s only university admitted a total of 92.9% of applicants for fall 2022, a decrease from the previous year.
Enrollment data for the university in Orleans County revealed white was the most common ethnicity among students in the 2022-23 school year, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.
