Relay For Life of Rutland County issued the following announcement on March 18.

THROW DOWN THURSDAY!

This post would normally be a FIGHT BACK FRIDAY post, but it’s too important to wait until tomorrow!

For those folks who were at Kickoff on Tuesday, you heard about ACS CAN’s newest state-wide campaign, which is asking for a $1 million investment in Vermont’s Tobacco Control Program.

We need help in getting our state representatives to approve this budget item – that’s where you come in.

Take 1 minute and click the link below to send a message to Vermont’s House Appropriations Committee urging them to approve the budget request.  All you have to do is complete your name and address, and the message will be sent to all of our members.  It doesn’t get much easier than that!
