Data shows that the nursing center had a total of 110 beds available, 25 more than the average in Caledonia County as of the fourth quarter of 2023. They aided an average of 60.6 residents during that period.

St. Johnsbury Health and Rehabilitation had an overall rating of 1 from the CMS, which lags behind the average of 2.8 recorded for nursing homes in Vermont.

During the quarter, Pines Rehabilitation and Health Center stood out as the second largest nursing home in Caledonia County, with 60 beds available.

As of the fourth quarter of 2023, St. Johnsbury Health and Rehabilitation has already spent a total of $187,333 in four fines and suffered six penalties.

But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
