When asked to recall a memory from the Woodstock Community Food Shelf, Mary shared this heartwarming story

Rise VT - Windsor County issued the following announcement.

When asked to recall a memory from the Woodstock Community Food Shelf, Mary shared this heartwarming story: “On a snowy morning a few years ago, I showed up to the Food Shelf expecting to shovel and get ready to open up. There was a man there who was shoveling and had cleared more than a pathway to the door. We said good morning and I thanked him, thinking he was a volunteer. When we opened up, he came inside and sat down where our guests sit to wait. I said oh thank you so much I didn’t realize you were a guest. He said it was the least he could do as he really appreciated all of the food and kindness our community food shelf had given him.
