8.1% of households in Troy received food stamps in 2020

Troy ranked 92nd in Vermont for the percentage of households receiving food stamps in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

There were three Troy households (8.1 percent) who received food stamps. Troy's population was 58 in 2020.

The city with the largest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Irasburg, which had 25 of 51 households receiving food stamps, 40.9 percent more than Troy. In 2020 the population of Irasburg was 106.

The city with the lowest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Richmond, which had six of 355 households receiving food stamps, 6.4 percent less than Troy. In 2020 the population of Richmond was 824.
