PUBLIC WORKS: The Town of Castleton is accepting applications to fill two part-time seasonal Department of Public Works Department positions. Applicants must be physically able to perform strenuous manual labor in all weather conditions and must currently have a valid operator's license. Typical job requirements are, but not limited to, driving 1-ton dump trucks, operating roadside mowers, operating riding and push mowers, weed trimmers, operating a sidewalk/street sweeper, using a variety of hand and power tools, and performing other duties as assigned.
The ability to operate a backhoe, front-end loader, and a skid steer is a plus.
