Important COVID-19 Info for our Spartans

Important COVID-19 Info for our Spartans

While COVID-19 rates remain low in Vermont, the virus is still in our communities. Getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is the best way to protect your fellow Spartans so you can safely participate in campus activities and gather with friends.

You must meet the Castleton COVID-19 vaccination requirement or else you will not be allowed to move on to campus or attend classes.

You must do one of the following before classes begin on August 22:

• Submit a copy of your completed COVID-19 vaccination record, OR

• Submit a request for exemption, OR

• Submit a signed written statement that you will not come on campus for any reason during the 2022-23 academic year due to taking classes exclusively online

Returning students in compliance with vaccine reporting during the 2021-2022 Academic Year are not required to report again.

We are encouraging you to complete a COVID-19 test prior to returning to campus. Rapid Antigen tests will also be provided during the first week of classes.
