On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Lake Region Union High School standout David Piers’ current college team, the Oklahoma Baptist Bison, won 12-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Metro State Roadrunners.
The game took place at Bobby Cox Field at Ford Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Roadrunners this season.
The Bison’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m. at Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field against Southern Arkansas Muleriders.
