On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former Lake Region Union High School standout David Piers’ current college team, the Oklahoma Baptist Bison, won 17-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm.
The game took place at Mike Metheny Field. This was their first matchup against the Savage Storm this season.
The Bison’s next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at SWOSU Athletic Complex against Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs.
