Rutland County Humane Society issued the following announcement.

THIS JUST IN!

We were contacted by generous RCHS donors who offered us a $10,000 Memorial Day Matching Challenge! What a gift!  We know it’s short notice but we’re confident, with our supportive community, we can reach it! We’ve got until the end of the day on Tuesday, May 31st to make it happen.  

Every dollar you donate is really two dollars!  You can make a difference for twice as many animals. These funds will be doubly appreciated by the animals in our care needing warmth, love and support until they find their forever families
